When will I receive my order?

Most domestic orders arrive to their destinations between 5-14 business days after it is processed and shipped. Typically, international orders can take 7-22 days. This can vary greatly depending on the courier, how far you live from us and other circumstances.

My package is late!
Various unforeseen circumstances can cause a package to arrive later than the expected delivery date. We advise waiting up to an extra 7 business days for your package. You can also call the shipping courier with your tracking number to further inquire about your package.

I used the wrong address!
You can cancel or edit an order anytime leading up to the shipping date by contacting us. Once an item is shipped, the package is out of our possession and we cannot change or edit the address. In some cases, the package may be returned to us by the courier, in which we will contact you in an attempt to re-ship the package to your correct address. Please verify you have inputted the correct information before placing your order to avoid losing your package.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected at the time of purchase based on method of shipping chosen. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer. Customs duties and fees may be required. Please be aware of any additional costs that may occur before placing an order.
For US orders, there is a flat fee of $16.

I received a refund for something I bought recently, what happened?
In the instance that an in-store shopper and an online shopper purchase the same item within the same time frame, on the same day, the in-store shopper will take priority in this situation. The online shopper will be notified and given a refund on the item(s) that have sold out. The rest of your order will be shipped to you as soon as possible!
Another reason you may have received a refund is because we found a defect in the item that was missed prior to listing the item on the website. We take pride in offering good quality, pre-loved items - but sometimes we make mistakes!

DELIVERY TERMS
4.1 Transit Time Domestically
In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 5-14 days.

Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 7-22 days.

4.3 Dispatch Time
Orders are dispatched twice a week. Our processing time is between 1-3 business days.

4.4 Change Of Delivery Address
For change of delivery address requests, we are able to change the address at
any time before the order has been dispatched.

4.5 Items Out Of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will cancel and refund the out-of-stock items and
dispatch the rest of the order.

4.6 Delivery Time Exceeded
If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please allow an additional 7 business days for your order. You can also contact the shipping courier using your tracking number to further inquire about your order. 

5. Tracking Notifications
Upon dispatch, customers may receive a tracking link from which they will be
able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made
available by the shipping provider.

6. Parcels Damaged In Transit
If you find a parcel is damaged in-transit, if possible, please reject the
parcel from the courier and get in touch with us. If the
parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact us.

7.2 Import Duties & Taxes
Import duties and taxes for international shipments may be liable to be paid
upon arrival in destination country. This varies by country, and we encourage you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an
order with us.
If you refuse to to pay duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination
country, the goods will be returned to Grandma's Basement at the customers
expense, and the customer will receive a refund for the value of goods paid,
minus the cost of the return shipping. The cost of the initial shipping will not
be refunded.

8. Cancellations
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to
accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an
order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.

9. Insurance
Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the
courier.

9.1 Process for parcel damaged in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed
their investigation into the claim.

9.2 Process for parcel lost in-transit
We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an
investigation and deemed the parcel lost.
